From 9:00 pm onwards, hundreds of Venezuelans began to queue outside their polling stations in Guarenas, Maturín, Tovar, Biscucuy, Acarigua, San Félix, Puerto Ayacucho, Barquisimeto, Barinas and Barcelona. The polling stations do not open until 6:00 am, which could indicate a high turnout that is beneficial to the opposition. This anticipation is unprecedented in previous electoral processes. In Valera, colectivos tried to intimidate voters but they stayed in the queue.
