The TSJ Intervenes the Venezuelan Red Cross
While the Venezuelan Red Cross doesn’t have the best track record, it had been led by the same guy for 40 years, Maduro’s TSJ arbitrarily appointed a board to intervene the institution:
- Ricardo Cussano (former Fedecámaras president)
- Alberto Vollmer (Rum magnate)
- María Fátima Garces (Vice dean of the UCV)
- Ruben Limardo (fencing olympic medalist)
- Juan Simón Muñoz
- Johanna Pantoja
- Griswill Fonseca
While some are forcing themselves into the narrative that this may be healthy for the venequian Red Cross, experts fear that this method can be replicated to intervene NGOs.
