WEBCAST: Venezuela's #6D Elections: What's Next?
Luis Vicente! FRod! Lansberg! Your questions live! What are you waiting for?
Americas Society and Council of the Americas is hosting a panel discussion on Venezuela’s upcoming December 6 legislative elections. Amid high inflation, shortages of basic goods, high rates of crime and violence, and low international oil prices, opinion polls suggest that the opposition coalition is poised to take control of the National Assembly. Experts will discuss likely political scenarios and probable economic outlooks.
Speakers:
Luis Vicente León, Executive Director, Datanalisis @luisvicenteleon
Daniel Lansberg-Rodriguez, International Finance Faculty at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and Columnist at El Nacional @DLansberg
Francisco Rodríguez, Director and Senior Andean Economist, Bank of America Merrill Lynch @frrodriguezc
Andres Schipani, Andes Correspondent, The Financial Times @andresschipani (moderator)
We’ll be live tweeting using the hashtag #6DChron.
