Caravan Chaos

Marianna Parraga’s blow-by-blow account (literally!) of Chávez’s campaign caravana in Zulia’s Costa Oriental del Lago is well worth a read:

I enjoyed reading her account! It was very entertaining – I could really “feel her pain” ;-)

Cort Green speaking jibber jabber in 3 comments, 2 comments, one comment…

OT: As I writing this, Globovision is reporting how the election is starting in Australia. Thanks, Skype for existing and for those Venezuelans down under, thanks for voting.

Y dale con los papelitos! That’s probably the most blatant evidence of the failure of this so-called “democracia participativa”. The blob had 14 years to build a real “democracia participativa”, but he built a cult of personality instead. People are not empowered. They are as helpless as ever, hoping for a miracle from San Chávez. Instead of citizens demanding accountability we have beggars asking for charity. Sad…

  6. ElJefe says:

Jesus that’s one gross personality cult. I’m surprised they don’t just rip his clothes off a-la-Ayatollah and build an altar to each prenda.

  7. Jon says:

That account does not spell good luck for Capriles…
